Members receive advanced wildland firefighting training and participate in local, regional, and national wildfire response. The program emphasizes wildfire suppression, firefighter safety, incident management, and protecting communities from the growing threat of wildland fire.
The Dozer Program provides specialized heavy equipment resources to support wildland firefighting operations. Trained personnel utilize bulldozers to construct fire lines, improve access, protect structures, and assist with large-scale wildfire suppression efforts in coordination with local, state, and federal partners.
Certified Fallers are specially trained to safely assess and remove hazardous trees that threaten emergency operations, roadways, structures, or personnel. Their expertise is critical during wildland fires, severe weather events, and other incidents where damaged or unstable trees pose a significant safety risk.
