The Eagle Fire Department's Building Plans Review process helps ensure new construction, remodels, and tenant improvements meet applicable fire and life safety codes. Our goal is to work collaboratively with property owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to identify fire protection requirements early in the design process, creating safer buildings for our community while helping projects move efficiently from planning to completion.
All new commercial construction, including tenant improvements and remodels, requires the submittal of at least one complete set of construction plans for review and approval by the Eagle Fire Department prior to the beginning of construction. Note: All plans need to be in PDF format compatible with GovBuilt review software, unzipped and not locked.
Through a contractual partnership with North Ada County Fire & Rescue (NACFR), the Eagle Fire Department provides 24/7 staffing for Station 5, located in Hidden Springs.
