The Operations Division is managed by a Deputy Chief and is the largest division within the Eagle Fire Department. Under the direction of the Deputy Chief the division oversees the Division Chief of Training, Three Battalion Chiefs, and 54 suppression personnel. Operations handles approximately 3,800 emergency incidents annually to include fire, rescue, medical aid, and other calls for service.
The Eagle Fire Department’s Code Enforcement Division, led by the Fire Marshal, works to protect the public by ensuring compliance with the adopted fire code. The division conducts inspections, reviews development and fire protection plans, investigates violations and fire incidents, and maintains safety inspection records.
Eagle Fire Department offers programs and resources to educate the public on fire safety, emergency preparedness, and disaster response. We believe informed communities are safer communities.

The Eagle Fire Protection District is 75 years strong. A beautiful town nestled between the Boise foothills and the Boise River just west of the capital city. Our fire protection district spans 92 square miles, encompassing all of Eagle along with parts of unincorporated areas of Ada, Gem and Boise Counties.
