With warmer temperatures coming in April it's important to understand snowmelt within the Treasure Valley. The snowmelt runoff is vital for the local water supplies and is usually contained within the reservoirs, rivers and creeks throughout the county. However, flooding can and has occurred within our area in past years along the Boise River. Preparedness is key so develop a plan to deal with high water if it does occur.
